AVA Sathorn Boutique Residence is a smoke-free property. We are committed to providing all guests with a clean, comfortable, and smoke-free environment across all guest rooms, common areas, and indoor spaces. Our team is trained to monitor and uphold this policy throughout the property.
All guest rooms are strictly non-smoking. Guests who do not comply with this policy will be charged a room recovery fee to cover the cost of restoring the room to a smoke-free condition.
While smoking is not permitted inside any building on the property, guests who wish to smoke may do so outdoors, in the designated smoking areas only.
Regulations on the Use of Cannabis and Hemp in Thailand
Following Thailand’s decriminalisation of cannabis on 9 June 2022, the Ministry of Public Health classified marijuana and hemp as controlled plants. Cannabis use is legally permitted only for medical and health-related purposes, and strictly limited to individuals aged 20 years and above.
Please note that smoking cannabis in public spaces is prohibited under Thai law, with penalties including a potential three-month jail sentence and a fine of up to 25,000 Baht. Cannabis policies in Thailand permit production and consumption solely for medical or health purposes — not for recreational use.
In line with these regulations, the smoking of cannabis is strictly prohibited anywhere on the AVA Sathorn Boutique Residence property.
